The SESAMES Award competition was organized in the heart of CARTES SECURE CONNECTIONS 2015 to recognize the best innovations in the fields of secure payment solutions, identification and mobility. During this event, 11 winners have been awarded.

The awards ceremony took place on 17th November - the first day of CARTES SECURE CONNECTIONS. The winners in ten different categories, selected by a broad panel of independent industry experts, were announced. The 3D Multi-color Card from Emperor Technology is the winner in the category of “Best Manufacturing & Tests Product”.

The 3D Multi-color Card is a product of Emperor Technology’s latest innovation. It is printed by resinae liquid inkjet printing technology, on which the photo, text, number and signature are created with 3D embossing effect. The technology brings reform to the current flat processing technique since the digital printing creates embossing effect of graphics and texts to achieve high anti-counterfeiting feature and long service life. It can replace the traditional mechanical moulding pressing banking card production, with its remarkable advantages such as low noise, no card-bending and maximum antenna size in RFID card.

The 3D Multi-color card is a cost-effective solution to print vivid color pattern on cards with high resolution. It brings diversity to the traditional smart card manufacturing industry.
