EMPTECH Participates in the 6th Edition of International Identity Day (ID DAY) in Burkina Faso
2025-09-19

From September 15 to 19, 2025, EMPTECH, as the only Chinese partner, participated in the 6th edition of the International Identity Day (Journée Internationale de l’Identité, ID DAY) in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso — an important event organized by the National Identification Office of Burkina Faso (Office National d’Identification, ONI) to raise awareness of the crucial role identity plays in ensuring fair access to rights and responsibilities within society.

Held under the high patronage of His Excellency Captain Ibrahim TRAORÉ, President of Faso and Head of State, this year’s edition revolved around the central theme: “Integrated harmonization of identity and travel documents within the AES space: current situation, challenges, and opportunities for the free movement of people and goods.”

As a trusted partner, EMPTECH was honored to showcase its advanced identity products and solutions at the exhibition, including its Biometric Enrollment Solution, featuring the Biometric Registration Suitcase and Biometric Enrollment Tablet, supporting the collective vision of secure, inclusive, and efficient identification systems for all. The EMPTECH booth attracted significant attention from visitors, including Divisional Police Commissioner Mahamadou Sana, Minister of Security, who exchanged with representatives from EMPTECH during the event.

Throughout the event, EMPTECH reaffirmed its commitment to working alongside local governments, institutions, and partners to strengthen identity ecosystems, enhance trust, and contribute to digital transformation.

EMPTECH extends its sincere gratitude to the ONI for hosting such a remarkable edition of ID DAY, and to all partners and visitors who joined us in advancing secure and inclusive identity solutions together.

As a trusted identity products and solutions provider, EMPTECH is committed to supporting the government of Burkina Faso and contributing to the continued development of the country’s identity infrastructure, public services, and digital transformation. We are privileged to play a meaningful role in advancing the vision of secure and inclusive identification worldwide.
